The questions VAs actually ask before signing up

Is the Free plan really free? What's the catch?
No catch. Free forever for up to 2 clients, with full access to time tracking, invoices, the client portal, and the task board. We make money when you grow — not before.
Can my client see my hourly rate?
No. The client portal shows project status, invoices, and deliverables. Your rate, internal notes, and time entries are private to you. The only number they see is the invoice total.
What currencies are supported?
Right now: USD, EUR, GBP, PHP, AUD, and CAD. Each invoice can be issued in a different currency, so a US client and a Philippines client can be billed correctly out of the same workspace. More on the way — tell us which one you need.
Can I import from Dubsado / HoneyBook / a spreadsheet?
Yes for clients (CSV upload). For invoices, we recommend starting fresh — your historical invoices stay in the old tool, new invoices go through us. Most VAs make the cutover at month-end.
Do my clients need to sign up to see their portal?
No. They get a private link. They open it, they see their stuff. That's the whole flow.
What if I want to leave? Is my data locked in?
Export everything anytime — clients, time entries, invoices — as CSV. Your invoices stay accessible as PDFs even after you cancel. We don't believe in hostage data.
Do you support tax / VAT on invoices?
Yes. Each invoice supports a tax line (percentage or flat amount), tax label (VAT, GST, IVA, etc.), and your tax ID for compliance.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. PayPal is on the roadmap.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.
